I started Paint Texas to bring honesty, craft, and efficiency back into home improvement. After 25 years in agency advertising, IT consulting and management consulting, I wanted to do something tangible—something that made people’s homes better and their lives easier.

Meet Clyde — Our “Jerry West”
The Paint Texas logo has a story. It’s inspired by Clyde—our loyal family dog and the face of our brand. Ever since he became the logo, I’ve jokingly referred to him as our “Jerry West.” He (and his sister, Quin!) is a big part of our family and occasionally tags along on job visits. Clyde represents loyalty, trust, and the friendly personality behind Paint Texas.

Our mission is simple: to deliver honest, high-quality painting services paired with clear communication and dependable workmanship. As the President and Owner of Paint Texas, I run my company on the same principles that guide my family life—honesty, integrity, hard work, and perseverance.
My wife, Jennifer, is a passionate KISD kindergarten teacher, and her dedication to her work inspires me daily. Together with our sons, Nicholas and Dominic, we believe in doing what we love, serving others well, and being proud of every effort we make.
That same philosophy drives Paint Texas. When I meet a client, I’ll shake your hand, look you in the eye, and tell you the truth about what we do, how we do it, and what it will cost—no hidden charges, no vague promises, no shortcuts.
